Sheriff Glenn Parrett Woodbury County’s 32nd Sheriff

Sheriff Glenn Parrett, is the most senior law enforcement officer of the Woodbury County Sheriff’s Office. Glenn began serving the citizens of Sioux City in 1965 as a member of the Civil Defense Rescue Squad. In 1971, F.O. “Whitey” Rosenberger appointed him to the position of Deputy Sheriff. Sheriff Parrett has made inroads to garner and maintain a good working relationship with the County Board of Supervisors and continues to develop and maintain inter-agency cooperation with the surrounding law enforcement departments.
